A Canaan man is accused of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl.
Cody Reynolds, 25, was arrested on Wednesday and charged on multiple counts, including gross sexual assault, according to the Courier Gazette.
The child told a school official the alleged sexual assault happened in November 2022 in St. George, the Gazette reported.
Reynolds was living with the child’s family, according to the Courier Gazette.
Reynolds, who denies the allegation, is being held on a $50,000 cash bail and is set to appear in court next month, according to the Courier Gazette.
