GREENBUSH, Maine — Police are investigating after a student at a Penobscot County school threatened other students and staff.
Officials at the Helen S. Dunn School in Greenbush say the threat happened on Wednesday.
The student will not be allowed to contact other students or staff members who were allegedly threatened.
“The safety and well-being of all students and staff is our top priority and we will follow all necessary steps, including law enforcement involvement, to ensure that everyone can feel safe here at school,” Helen S. Dunn School officials said.
A guidance counselor will be made available to those needing support.
Helen S. Dunn School provides education for pre-K through 8th grade.
