BANGOR — The Maine Discovery Museum is excited to unveil its inaugural Nostalgia Night — an exclusive 18-plus event designed for MDM “alumni” to revisit their formative years. This unique occasion not only offers an opportunity to reminisce but also provides insight into the evolving landscape of MDM while supporting the institution’s mission to cater to the next generation of Mainers. Nostalgia Night is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 5, from 6-8:30 p.m.
Kate Dickerson, executive director, shares the inspiration behind Nostalgia Night, “We’ve observed a heartening trend where individuals who grew up at MDM are now bringing their own children, and those who brought their kids are now introducing their grandchildren to the magic of our museum. We thought it would be a delightful experience to open the museum exclusively for adult visitors, allowing them to rediscover MDM and engage in some of the same playful and educational activities they enjoyed in their youth.”
Join with other alumni for a night of fun at Nostalgia Night. Advance tickets are available for $13 at https://www.mainediscoverymuseum.org/special-events, with door tickets priced at $18. A cash bar and food will be available throughout the evening. Join the excitement on social media by using the hashtag #MDMNostalgiaNight. All proceeds from this event will directly support the Maine Discovery Museum.
