A woman has admitted killing a care worker at a supported living facility in Stirling.
Kellyanne McNaughton, 33, repeatedly stabbed Michele Rutherford, 54, at Craighall Court on 7 March 2023.
Ms Rutherford was taken to Glasgow’s Queen Elizabeth University Hospital following the attack but was later pronounced dead.
McNaughton was arrested on the same day.
At the High Court in Glasgow on Monday, McNaughton pleaded guilty to the reduced charge of culpable homicide after previously facing a murder accusation.

Detective Inspector Scott Roxburgh said: “Michele Rutherford lost her life in tragic circumstances while at work caring for others.
“We know her loss has had a lasting impact on a great many people and, of course, in particular her family.
“Nothing can change what happened but I hope that this conviction can provide some degree of closure.”
