Sunshine continues in Maine to start the workweek, and it will remain in place for much of this week.
Things look to turn more active and unsettled by the weekend and continuing into next week.
Monday will be sunny and breezy. Highs will be in the low to mid-30s. We’ll see extra clouds around for the afternoon and evening.
A few extra clouds will linger into Tuesday, and there could be a flurry or two as well. Otherwise, expect a good amount of sun and temperatures in the mid- to high 30s.
By Wednesday, full sunshine returns with slightly warmer temps. Highs will be in the upper 30s to near 40.
Thursday brings similar weather with sunshine and highs near 40.
Friday will finally bring slightly more active weather.
Clouds will increase through the day ahead of some light rain and snow chances on Friday night. Highs will be mild on Friday in the low 40s.
Saturday will be the mildest day of the next week. Temperatures will be in the mid- to high 40s, but lows in the 50s can’t be ruled out. A scattered shower or two will be possible with mainly cloudy skies.
Scattered shower chances continue into Sunday, but it doesn’t look all that wet. Temperatures drop a bit Sunday; it looks cooler next week.
