Man shot in Bangor parking lot after late-night altercation

Police responded to a report of shots fired just before midnight and found a man injured in the parking lot, according to Bangor Police Detective Brent Beaulieu. The man was taken to a local hospital and treated for gunshot wounds.

The alleged shooter was located nearby by police, Beaulieu said. It is unclear if the alleged shooter will face charges as police provided no further details. The investigation is ongoing.
