Orono police are seeking information after a dead goldendoodle puppy was found in a Planet Fitness backpack in the Stillwater River.
The find was reported Thursday at about 2:05 p.m. Police said the backpack also contained a concrete block.
The puppy was a male goldendoodle wearing a white collar with rose gold attachments, according to police.
