To all unenrolled (independent) Maine registered voters: this is the first year that you can vote in either the Democratic or Republican presidential primary. Absentee ballots can now be requested online at https://apps.web.maine.gov/cgi-bin/online/AbsenteeBallot/index.pl (or google Maine Absentee Ballot Request) and click on Request an Absentee Ballot. You will receive a confirmation and a follow up email from your municipality. You can also call or stop by your municipal office to request an absentee ballot.

This is your opportunity to impact the presidential election by having a say on who will be on the ballot in November. I think many agree that this is a critical election that needs input from everyone, not just vocal minorities.
