A man who led police on a pursuit through Cumberland and York counties late Friday night faces several charges including operating under the influence and criminal threatening.
Around 11 p.m., the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office responded to 37 Oak Hill Road in Standish after the homeowner reported a Jeep in her parking lot with the lights turned off.
Police say they found 52-year-old Aaron Difillipo refusing to listen to their commands.
They say he then began swallowing a bottle of pills and what appeared to be alcohol.
Investigators say Difillipo then drove around deputies and spike strips and took off.
Shortly after, police found the Jeep on Route 113 and the chase then led into Cornish.
After using a pit maneuver, authorities finally arrested Difillipo.
He faces a list of charges, including OUI and criminal threatening.
Police say they found alcohol, shell casings and a cross bow in his car.
Police also say Difillipo’s Jeep matched a description for a shooting suspect the day before but offered no other details.
