In an earlier letter to the editor, I urged airdropping food and supplies into Gaza. That was a bad idea.
Events have proven me wrong. As a three-year enlisted U.S. Army veteran I often complained about leadership decisions from above. I understand a bit better today. Innocents have died in that dropping of supplies.
There is only one solution: Stop the fighting. I weep for the victims.
