Gifford’s Ice Cream will be opening their family-owned stands soon, and will be introducing some new flavors.
The Bangor stand will open this Friday at noon, while the Waterville stand will open on March 22 at noon. The Skowhegan stand will open on April 5 at noon, while the opening date of the Farmington stand will be determined and announced at a later date.
Ice cream will be served from Gifford’s mobile Scoop Shack at the Farmington location.
Gifford’s Ice Cream has also announced its first-ever year-round line of pint flavors, which includes seven new varieties for fans to enjoy.
The new pint flavors are:
Wyman’s Wild Blueberry Cheesecake, a wild blueberry ice cream with graham crusted cheesecake pieces; Banana Caramel Coconut a banana ice cream loaded with chocolate coconut pieces and a salted caramel ripple; Salted Vanilla Toffee, a salted vanilla ice cream with a salted toffee caramel swirl; Double Dough, Gifford’s world-famous vanilla ice cream littered with cookie & brownie dough pieces, then rippled with decadent brownie batter; Spicy Strawberry Pretzel, a rich cheesecake ice cream with a pretzel ripple, real strawberries, and a habanero kick; Passion Fruit Mango Sangria Sorbet, a sangria sorbet flavored with passion fruit and mango chunks; and Reverse Chocolate Chip, which has loads of white chocolate morsels in a rich dark chocolate ice cream.
