Police are investigating after a body was found in Casco Bay on Saturday morning.
The body was spotted by a woman riding the morning ferry from Peaks Island to Portland, according to the Portland Press Herald.
The ferry captain called the police, and the boat stayed next to the remains until the police arrived.
A death investigation is ongoing, and the identity of the man and his cause of death are not yet known.
