The University of Maine’s baseball and softball teams will not play on Saturday due to the snowstorm but both will play on Sunday and the softball team will also play on Monday.
Both will host noon America East doubleheaders on Sunday. The baseball team will play the New Jersey Institute of Technology and the softball team will take on Bryant University.
The UMaine baseball team, which will be playing its first conference home series, is 6-18 overall and 2-4 in league play while NJIT is 10-16 and 3-3, respectively.
The softball team is 2-24 and 0-6 and will be facing a Bryant team that is 18-9, 4-2, respectively.
The softball team will conclude its three-game series against Bryant with an 11 a.m. game on Monday.
America East forbids its baseball teams from playing league games on Monday.
