A teenage boy has died after getting into difficulty while swimming in a river in Northamptonshire.
Ronalds Abele, 17, was pulled from the River Nene on Friday afternoon.
Police, paramedics and fire crews were called to Embankment in Wellingborough shortly before 2pm.

Firefighters got Ronalds out of the water but he was pronounced dead after being airlifted to Northampton General Hospital.
“This was a tragic incident and Ronalds’s family have requested privacy at this very distressing time,” a spokesman for Northamptonshire Police said.
