Maine State Police are looking for two men who fled the scene of a Limington crash involving a school bus carrying 13 children.
The crash happened Friday at about 2:20 p.m. in the vicinity of 419 Sokokis Avenue, according to Maine State Police spokesperson Shannon Moss. A school bus traveling south toward Axelsen Road was slowing down when it was struck from behind by a four-door sedan.
The bus and car were severely damaged and had to be towed from the area, but no injuries were reported.
Immediately after the crash, two white men in their 20s or 30s fled on foot into nearby woods, Moss said. Police were able to track and locate a piece of clothing believed to be from one suspect using a K-9, but both men remain at large.
Police are continuing to investigate the crash and expect to issue criminal charges.
