Perhaps I should not be surprised that U.S. Sen. Susan Collins defends convicted felon Donald Trump. He seems to hold sway over nearly all Republicans in Congress, along with his group of believers in the Big Lie that the election was “stolen.” (The courts have said otherwise, over and over.)
I believe Trump is a traitor. He inspired an attack on the very government he was sworn to uphold. How can Collins overlook that?
Collins is the senator who cast the pivotal vote to put anti-abortion judge Brett Kavanaugh on the U.S. Supreme Court. I think she really isn’t moderate, really doesn’t support women’s rights and, worst of all, doesn’t support the rule of law.
