A man was shot on Hogan Road in Bangor on Tuesday night.
The shooting happened about 9 p.m. outside 701 Hogan Road, where Bangor Inn and Suites is located, according to Detective Lt. Brent Beaulieu of the Bangor Police Department.
There was a “verbal exchange” between two people and one of them fired a handgun, Beaulieu said early Wednesday morning.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound, Beaulieu said.
The victim’s condition was unknown Wednesday morning.
The shooting remains under investigation, and no additional information was immediately available.
