A missing Presque Isle man has been found dead.
Lyman Botting, 82, was reported missing late last month. He was last seen alive at his Houlton Road home on the morning of Sept. 27, according to Shannon Moss, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
Moss said Sunday night that Botting had been found. Both the Maine State Police and Presque Isle Police Department have released few details about Botting’s disappearance and the circumstances about where he was found.
“No further details will be released at this time to preserve the integrity of the investigation,” Presque Isle police said in a social media post.
But Presque Isle police told WAGM-TV that the Maine Warden Service had found Botting dead.
No additional information was immediately available.
