I’m writing to urge my fellow Mainers to join me in voting for Rep. Reagan Paul’s re-election to the Maine House of Representatives. Now more than ever, we need a strong voice for the people who are struggling the most — our elderly on fixed incomes and young families trying to make ends meet.
When the Democrats repealed the property tax stabilization law and lifted the cap on property taxes, they made life harder for those who can least afford it. Seniors, who have worked their whole lives to stay in their homes, are now facing skyrocketing taxes. Reagan Paul stood against these harmful policies because she understands the crushing impact they have on those living on fixed incomes.
Young families are feeling the squeeze too, with rising costs on everything from rent to groceries to electricity. Democrats have driven up electricity prices with reckless policies, leaving families struggling to afford basic necessities. Reagan has been on the front lines, fighting to lower energy costs and keep Maine livable for everyone.
Small businesses, the lifeblood of our communities, have also been hit with burdensome regulations that make it harder to thrive. Reagan has consistently stood with small business owners, voting to cut red tape and protect jobs, because she knows these businesses are what keep our economy afloat.
It’s not easy being in the minority, but Reagan Paul keeps fighting for principles over politics. She fights to protect what you’ve worked for and ensure that future generations can afford to live and thrive in Maine. Reagan Paul is the strong, principled leader we need to make Maine affordable again. Join me in voting for her this election.
