Maine is recalling cannabis products sold at more than a dozen stores across the state.
It’s the second-ever recall from the Maine Office of Cannabis Policy.
The recall is for pre-ground cannabis flower, pre-rolls and blunts of the strain Frosted Cookies from Nova Farms, according to the state cannabis office.
The products failed bacteria, yeast and mold tests. The recall is for products sold between Sept. 17 and Oct. 8 at 14 stores from Presque Isle to Medway, to Greenville Junction, to South Portland.
Consumption may cause sinus issues, allergies, headaches, dizziness, flu-like symptoms and fatigue, the cannabis office said.
Buyers should return the products to the retailer or throw them away.
The Maine Office of Cannabis Policy issued its first recall last month for pre-roll strains called GG-4 and Portal and the pre-roll and cannabis flower strain Jelly Donutz from the company Cannabis Cured.
