As the 5th of November approaches and now that early voting has begun, I want to take this opportunity to ask for the support of the taxpayers and for their vote to elect me as Knox County commissioner for District 3.
My recent work as the interim Knox County administrator, my two terms as a member and chair of the select board and board of assessors, and as a member of the zoning board of appeals in Owls Head, has provided me with a broad understanding of how municipal and county government works.
That practical municipal experience combined with my decades of diverse business management in both the private and nonprofit sectors, including community and economic development work, provides me with unique qualifications and perspective.
Knox County Commission District 3 comprises the towns of Camden, Hope, Owls Head and Rockport, the island communities of Isle au Haut, Matinicus, North Haven and Vinalhaven, as well as the unorganized territories of Criehaven and the Muscle Ridge Islands. I am running as an unenrolled candidate, and I look forward to serving these and all Knox County municipalities over the next four years.
Interested voters can learn more about my qualifications by viewing my LinkedIn profile. For those who would prefer to talk or meet with me in person, I can be reached by email at [email protected]. Also, our local news outlets will be publishing candidate profiles soon, providing additional insight.
I sincerely appreciate your consideration as you cast your ballot.
