A 17-year-old was shot in Portland early Tuesday morning.
Police found the teen suffering from a gunshot wound on Forest Avenue about 2:21 a.m., according to Brad Nadeau, a spokesperson for the Portland Police Department.
The 17-year-old, whose identity wasn’t released, was taken to Maine Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. The teen is now in stable condition, Nadeau said.
The shooting remains under investigation.
