A Bangor elementary school closed Wednesday because of a lack of heat.
Ray Phinney, a spokesperson for the Bangor School Department, said there was a boiler issue that left Fairmount School on 13th Street without heat.
The department made the decision to not hold classes there Wednesday.
Fairmount School, built in 1919, serves about 250 students in the fourth and fifth grades.
