PORTLAND, Maine – Minnesota’s first lady is making another trip to Maine.
Gwen Walz is scheduled to travel to Maine next week to campaign for Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband, Governor Tim Walz.
She last visited Maine at Thompson’s Point in Portland in September. When in Bangor last month, Walz commented that Maine Democrats must have “hard conversations” to win in November.
“When we tell stories, we win,” Walz told campaign volunteers at a Democratic office on Harlow Street in Bangor. “I’m asking you to have hard conversations with your undecided neighbors.”
Gwen Walz is expected in Maine on Oct. 22 to talk about how Harris and former President Donald Trump differ on reproductive rights. It was not immediately clear where Walz would be stopping in Maine.
