A Limerick man suffered life-threatening injuries Sunday afternoon when he crashed his motorcycle in Baldwin.
Wyatt Esculano, 19, was riding a 1994 Harley-Davidson motorcycle south on Bridgton Road about 4:21 p.m. when he lost control at a curve and left the road, striking a stone wall, according to Lt. Joseph Dyar of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
Esculano, who wasn’t wearing a helmet, suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to Maine Medical Center in Portland.
Dyar said that Esculano didn’t have a license or permit to ride a motorcycle.
Speed and inexperience are considered factors in the crash, which remains under investigation.
