Sabrina Carpenter noticed an A-list fan at her latest Sweet n’ Short Tour concert: Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown!
“I’m really distracted right now because I see this gorgeous girl,” Carpenter, 25, said during her Tuesday, October 22, concert at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, per fan footage shared via X.
“I’ve fallen and I can’t get up. This girl is so hot,” Carpenter continued, pretending not to know Brown, 20. “Who are you? What is your name?”
Carpenter then said, “Millie, I’ve never fallen in love at a concert before but stranger things have happened,” referencing Brown’s hit Netflix show which is currently filming its fifth and final season in Atlanta. The pun caused the audience to erupt into applause as Brown played along.
Sabrina Carpenter Gushes Over Talented BF Barry Keoghan
“It’s so unfortunate we have to arrest you ‘cause you’re so beautiful,” Carpenter gushed over Brown, prompting the actress to mouth, “Please arrest me!”
Carpenter then underwent a costume change onstage, declaring that her “clothes are embarrassed” as she slipped out of her skirt to reveal a shorter skirt. “What have you done to me?” she playfully teased Brown. “Not my skirt falling off in front of so many people!”
Brown is the latest celebrity to show up at Carpenter’s headlining Short n’ Sweet Tour, following in the footsteps of Joey King and Carpenter’s boyfriend Barry Keoghan, who was in attendance Sunday, October 20, when the “Espresso” singer performed at John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, Virginia.
The Irish actor fueled speculation that Carpenter’s steamy “Bed Chem” lyrics are about him as he appeared to cover a knowing smile with a piece of paper upon hearing the lyrics, “Who’s the cute boy with the white jacket and the thick accent?”
Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter’s Friendship Timeline
Keoghan and Carpenter have been dating since 2023, and the singer even enlisted her actor boyfriend to appear in the music video for her track “Please Please Please,” which was released in June.
In an interview with CBS Sunday Morning earlier this month, Carpenter explained that she cast Keoghan — a 2023 Oscar nominee for his supporting role in The Banshees of Inisherin — because she admired his acting skills. “I, genuinely — like, a not-even-biased opinion — I was like, ‘Who’s the greatest actor that I can find for this music video?’” she said. “And he was next to me in a chair. And he was so excited about it!”
