Monsters: The Erik and Lyle Menéndez actress and frequent American Horror Story star Leslie Grossman is engaged!
Grossman shared the news for the first time publicly Tuesday, October 22, on her former What I Like About You costar Jennie Garth’s podcast, “I Choose Me With Jennie Garth.”
“I am engaged, which is so fun!” the Popular alum, 52, shared. “That’s a wild thing that I didn’t see coming. Not that I didn’t see it coming with this person. I just didn’t see any of this next chapter of my life coming.”
Grossman was previously married to Jon Bronson for 20 years. The former couple, who share adopted daughter Goldie, 17, divorced in 2020.

“I’m so happy for you,” Garth, also 52, congratulated her former costar and friend.
Grossman responded, “I’m so happy for me too! He’s a wonderful person. It’s so funny this is the first time I’m talking about it publicly,” though she did not identify her new fiancé.
“It is a very lucky and wonderful next chapter. I mean, look, my whole life got reorganized around my 50th birthday and everything got thrown up into the air, and it sort of fell to the ground,” the frequent Ryan Murphy collaborator said of various life changes that affected her before she turned 50, including her separation from Bronson.
“I was very intentional about sort of deciding what I was going to pick up and what doesn’t come with me anymore,” she continued.
Grossman said that she was “48, 49-ish” when she and Bronson broke up, but that was not the only thing that led to her embracing a new chapter when she turned 50.

“I was married for almost 21 years and that ended. It was also the first month of the pandemic shutdown. The timing of that was as bad as it could have been,” she said. “And then pretty shortly after that [my] sister-in-law died. This was my brother’s wife [who] died. She was my sister. You know, you have a choice when all of this stuff happens. I decided I have to be brave. I felt like I had a very hard reset.”
Grossman recently appeared as Judalon Smyth in Netflix’s hit drama about Erik and Lyle Menéndez. She also played Rabbi Shira in an episode of the streaming service’s hit new comedy, Nobody Wants This, which stars Kristen Bell and Adam Brody.
