Hosted by Career Services, Husson Horizons will explore the careers of alumni and how a Husson education can be the catalyst for incredible journeys
BANGOR — Husson University is launching a new podcast aimed at highlighting the career journeys and successes of alumni. Husson Horizons, sponsored by Husson Alumni Relations and Career Services, will run for six episodes during its first season.
Hosted by Husson Senior Career Coach Joe McGovern, the six-week first season run will feature graduates who have gone on to work in finance, occupational therapy, entertainment, hospitality and more.
“This podcast will highlight how Husson educations have jump started a variety of successful careers. Our graduates represent an array of experiences and we are so proud to honor them in this way while also inspiring current and future students,” said McGovern.
The first episode, which is now available on streaming services, features Drew Hallett, class of 2023, who earned a BS in video production and used social media to land an internship in Las Vegas. The second episode will be available on Tuesday, Oct. 29 featuring alumni Amy Clark, who is the president of the Alumni Association and earned an MBA from Husson, and additional episodes will be released weekly.
Husson Horizons is available on the Husson Horizons Libsyn landing page as well as Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, and iHeart Radio.
The podcast is produced by the New England School of Communications.
