Maine Savings Federal Credit Union is proud to announce the promotion of Raymond Mayhew to the position of vice president of IT Operations. With over 23 years of experience at Maine Savings and a wealth of knowledge in both IT and administration, Mayhew brings a unique skill set and dedication to his new leadership role.
Mayhew, a lifelong resident of Maine and graduate of Hampden Academy, began his career at Maine Savings in 2001. Over the years, he has held several critical positions, including corporate trainer, where he played an instrumental role in designing a Maine Savings training program. His diverse experience also includes retail operations and overseeing key business applications, such as MeridianLink, which ultimately led him into the IT department.
“Raymond’s journey from administration to IT is a testament to his dedication and ability to adapt and lead in new areas,” said Adam Kavanagh, chief information officer at Maine Savings. “His leadership in IT operations has already brought innovation and improved processes. I am confident that in his new role, he will continue to push the boundaries of what we can achieve.”
In addition to his professional achievements, Raymond is deeply involved in his community. He serves on the Bangor Region Leadership Institute Steering Committee and actively volunteers with his local church.
