Whether it was as a police officer in Jay, a union member at the mill or my job today as a legislative advocate in the State House, I have seen many elected leaders come and go. One of the leaders that I am glad we have today is Congressman Jared Golden. His commitment to the values that matter to me are never in doubt.
Whether it’s supporting the working class and small business or protecting women’s right to choose, he has Mainers’ backs. I’ll tell you, there are a lot of politicians who talk the talk, but Jared is one who walks the walk. I think it’s because he’s not so different from the people he represents. Jared is a regular family man, with commonsense values, just trying to do the best he can for the people of Maine. He is one of us, and he’s getting my vote this November.
