Ariana Grande’s latest look is giving Glinda the Good Witch if she were getting married.
When the Wicked actress graced the red carpet at WSJ. Magazine’s Innovator Awards at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City on Tuesday, October 29, she wore a white Vivienne Westwood dress that seemed primed for a walk down the aisle.
Grande, 31, cut a lithe figure in the strapless design featuring a corset top and panniers at the waist, which the singer embraced to full effect as she twirled for photographers to capture every voluminous angle.
While it was certainly a lot of dress, it looked impossibly light thanks to the transparency of the lace, which became more translucent towards the hem for a flash of leg that created a sweet yet sultry finish.

As a global ambassador for Swarovski, Grande naturally dazzled in crystals from the brand’s Millenia and Matrix collections. Her necklace was delicately wrapped around her neck, while she added a bit of edge with multiple crystal stud earrings, creating the perfect ear stack.
Although Grande didn’t have a ring on that finger, she did have a Swarovski bauble on one hand that twisted around like a vine. Her hair also had an Old Hollywood feel and was swept back into a sleek, Audrey Hepburn–esque high bun.
The actress turned heads on the red carpet but quickly came to her costar’s rescue when Cynthia Erivo‘s dress needed a fluffing during photos. When her other costar (and boyfriend) Ethan Slater’s GQ cover story dropped the next morning on Wednesday, October 30, he gushed about their “beautiful” romance and how she seamlessly transformed into Glinda in the film.

“I’m just really excited,” he said during the interview. Slater, 32, continued: “I’m just really, really proud of Ari and the work she’s done on this. She’s poured herself into it. I’m really proud that I got to be there for that part of it, and I’m really excited to be there for this next step of it when the world gets to see the amazing thing that she did.”
