The Oct. 24 column from Gordon Canning purports to encourage Republicans to vote for Kamala Harris this election cycle. I read it twice searching for a substantive reason why — aside from the fact she is not Donald Trump. The writer mentioned Trump seven times and Harris only once.
Surely he can make a more compelling case. Isn’t there at least one leadership quality she brings as potential commander in chief? Not being the other candidate is not a winning strategy, in my opinion.
