We are very fortunate in RSU 71 to have Ryan Harnden running for reelection to our school board. As his current service shows, your vote for Ryan is a vote for dedication, commitment, and our children.
Ryan’s dedication to our community begins with his commitment to our children. Growing up in the area and raising his family in Belfast, Ryan’s deep roots here inspire his commitment to ensuring equitable quality education for all children. First serving on the RSU 3 School Board years ago and Waldo County Technical Center Board, Ryan has an outstanding record of service to the children here.
A proud father of two children attending CASS, Ryan advocates for all children. His goal is to ensure that all RSU 71 students acquire the tools they need to be successful with good future opportunities and choices in the work, life, and community they choose.
An active RSU 71 Board member, Ryan is chair of the finance committee, past chair of K-5 ad hoc committees and member of the curriculum committee. As the director of purchasing at Mathews Brothers, Ryan brings financial expertise and problem solving skills to the table.
Ryan believes in our teachers, staff, and administrators. He is a team player who seeks others input, listens, and responds to others’ concerns. Ryan seeks solutions that best support our students’ needs in financially sound ways.
Reelect Ryan Harnden to the RSU 71 Board. You will not be disappointed!
