One person was severely injured in a crash in Holden on Wednesday morning.
The crash on Lower Dedham Road in Holden was reported at around 6 a.m., according to a post on the Holden Fire/Rescue’s Facebook page.
First responders initially believed the crash to be fatal. When officials arrived on scene, they found a car that had gone off the road and crashed into a tree, with a person, who was alive, trapped inside.
The person was pulled from the car, and was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
The person’s name has not been released at this time. It was not immediately clear if officials had determined the cause of the crash.
