When Gigi Hadid stepped out in New York City this week, she had a cute new piece of arm candy — but it wasn’t Bradley Cooper.
Cooper, 49, was by her side while running errands in Manhattan on Monday, November 11, but there was a similarly covetable — though infinitely more compact — status symbol on her arm: a Loro Piana micro pouch. It was so tiny that you might miss it.
Considering Hadid, 29, was an early adopter of the mini bag, it comes as less of a surprise that she would (still) be shipping the itsy-bitsy accessory, even amid the sea of fall’s decidedly more oversized carriers. The season has been marked by the return of the slouchy hobo decked out in fanciful charms, but Hadid’s latest endorsement is proof that bigger isn’t always better.
The model turned up the volume with her outerwear: a quilted jacket by Sea NY with a patchwork pocket. She continued the cozy theme with her coat layered over a Beverly Hills Polo Club T-shirt and a tomato-red cardigan topped with a matching scarf, which we suspect are both pulled straight from her knitwear brand, Guest in Residence.

To fend off the chill, she grounded her Cotton Citizen Kate jeans with Birkenstock Boston clogs and multicolored socks that were perfectly in step with the playful stitchwork on her jacket. Going incognito mode called for a Kith x TAG Heuer baseball cap, which she coupled with a tangle of gold chains.
Cooper mirrored his model girlfriend with a matching red T-shirt, simple gray slacks and Air Jordan 4 Paris Olympics sneakers that, much like Hadid’s bag, are another It item for 2024.
They each finished their laid-back ensembles with aviator his-and-hers black sunglasses.
Less than 48 hours earlier, the couple saw the Broadway musical Chicago starring Alyssa Milano, who Instagrammed a photo with Cooper and Hadid backstage. This time, Hadid carried the same micro pouch but in slate gray. Even in a subtle neutral, the bag popped against her black leather motorcycle jacket, knit pants and ivory sweater, which she wore buttoned up like a top.
From her carrier to her cardigan, it seems that Hadid is well-versed in less-is-more style.
