Canadian pop star Avril Lavigne will bring her Greatest Hits tour to the Bangor waterfront in the spring of 2025.
Lavigne will make a stop at the Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor on Sunday, May 25, 2025. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, Dec. 6 via Ticketmaster.
Lavigne’s hits “Sk8ter Boi” and “Complicated” were inescapable on pop radio in the early 2000s, both from her 2002 album “Let Go,” which sold more than 7 million copies. Lavigne will be joined on the tour by fellow Canadians Simple Plan, known for its 2003 single “Perfect,” and rock band We the Kings.
Waterfront Concerts also announced last week that comedian Matt Rife will perform at the Maine Savings Amphitheater on Saturday, July 12, 2025. Tickets for that show are already on sale via Ticketmaster.
Those two shows join previously announced 2025 concerts from the Goo Goo Dolls and Dashboard Confessional on Aug. 5, and Papa Roach and Rise Against on Sept. 20. More concerts will be announced in the coming weeks.
