Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake are back on solid ground after the musician’s DWI arrest earlier this summer.
“Jessica and Justin are spending more time together and are happier and more relaxed,” a source exclusively reveals in the latest issue of Us Weekly, noting that the couple’s marriage was tested after Timberlake’s DWI drama.
Timberlake, 43, was arrested in June for driving while intoxicated when he was in the Hamptons. Since then, he has been more focused on his life with Biel, 42, and their two sons, Silas, 9, and Phineas, 4.
“Justin has taken time to reevaluate his priorities,” the insider says. “He hasn’t been going out as much and is staying in more with Jessica and the kids.”
The “Man of the Woods” singer is “finding new ways to connect” with his loved ones, the source adds.
Biel, for her part, has been supportive of her husband but is holding him accountable as they work to “rebuild trust” in their relationship, the insider tells Us.
“Jessica is showing patience and compassion while also maintaining firm expectations of him,” the source continues, adding that both Timberlake and Biel are “prioritizing their strength as a family.”
Justin Timberlake Plea Deal Includes PSA Requirement, $500 Fine
Timberlake made headlines in June following his DWI arrest. He was held in police custody overnight before his arraignment hearing where he was charged with a single count of DWI and two traffic violations. Timberlake was released on his own recognizance the next day.
“Jessica is extremely upset. She was shocked to hear the news and had no idea as she was working,” a source exclusively told Us in June. “She was really worried about him.”
Despite her frustrations over the situation, Biel stood by her man and was spotted later that month at Madison Square Garden cheering on Timberlake during one of his concerts.
In September, Timberlake appeared in court for the DWI case, accepting a lesser charge of a traffic violation. He agreed to a plea deal and must complete 25 to 40 hours of community service with a nonprofit, pay a $500 fine and issue a public safety announcement.
Timberlake issued a public apology for his actions after his hearing. “Many of you have been covering me for a lot of my life and, as you may know, I try to hold myself to a very high standard for myself,” he said during a press conference outside the courthouse in Sag Harbor, New York. “This was not that. I found myself in a position where I could have made a different decision, but I’ve had some time to reflect on that.”

The former ‘NSync singer continued: “What I’d like to say to everyone watching and listening: Even if you have one drink, don’t get behind the wheel of a car.”
Timberlake explained, “There’s so many alternatives, call a friend, take an Uber, there’s many travel apps [or] take a taxi. This is a mistake that I made, but I’m hoping that whoever is watching and listening right now can learn from this mistake.”
Timberlake and Biel appeared to close the chapter on his DWI scandal the following month as they celebrated their 12-year anniversary together in Montreal.

He blew a kiss to his wife in the audience and said, “So be nice to her, Montreal, because she’s sharing with all you guys tonight.”
