A Mount Vernon woman allegedly crashed into a Westbrook police cruiser on Saturday evening.
Tisha Langley, 50, has been charged with driving to endanger, according to the Westbrook Police Department.
Langley was driving on Main Street, near Warren Pool, when she allegedly veered into the oncoming lane without slowing down right into the path of a Westbrook police officer on patrol.
The two vehicles collided, deploying airbags in both of them, Westbrook police said Monday.
Langley and the officer suffered minor injuries. The crash significantly damaged both vehicles, and Westbrook police said that the cruiser may be totaled.
The crash remains under investigation.
