A printing company in Lisbon needs repairs after a Monday morning fire.
Crews received a call around 9:15 a.m. about a fire at the Dingley Press on Lisbon Street.
The Fire Department said that everyone got out safely, but the fire was large enough that crews from other towns needed to be called in.
“Because of the size of the building, the building itself absorbs a lot of smoke, so we just had a light grey smoke condition from the roof area, and that’s really what we were going off of, and the employees’ reports,” Lisbon Fire Chief Craig Bouchard said.
Crews created an access point on the roof to let the smoke out.
A machine at the printing press was damaged, according to the Fire Department.
The chief said no employees or firefighters were hurt.
