FAIRFIELD — Kennebec Valley Community College will honor 82 students at its second commencement of 2024, taking place on Thursday, Dec. 12 on the Fairfield campus in Carter Hall’s Kennebec Room. The ceremony will celebrate the achievements of students who have successfully completed the requirements for their associate degrees and certificate programs. Graduates will be congratulated by KVCC President Karen Normandin and Maine Community College System President David Daigler.
Continuing a cherished tradition, KVCC’s winter commencement allows family, friends, and the community to join in recognizing the hard work and accomplishments of its December graduates.
The keynote address will be delivered by Timothy Beals, a student success advisor from KVCC’s highly regarded Advising Center. Representing the Class of 2024, Vanessa Wilson, a graduate of the associate program in business administration, will offer reflections on her KVCC journey.
The ceremony will stream live at kvcc.me.edu/stream for those unable to attend in person. A reception will immediately follow in the Kennebec Room. Should it be necessary, the snow date is Dec. 13, at the same time and location.
Join us in celebrating the perseverance and accomplishments of KVCC’s December graduates as they take the next step toward their bright futures.
