Céline Dion is such a shoe girl.
Dion, 56, took to Instagram on Tuesday, December 17, to prove she can truly rock any shoe, no matter how bizarre. Her block heels featured layered yellow, orange and red faux feathers that were cut in fire-like flames. Created by Toronto set designer Caitlin Doherty on a commission from Scotiabank Arena, per W Magazine, the shoes were custom-made for Dion, to represent a phoenix rising from ashes.
Dion, who previously shared the same snap back in 2019, elevated the shoe with a red sequin dress that snatched her waist and showed off her legs with a thigh-high slit.
The singer glammed up her look even more with smoky eyeshadow as she posed in front of a Christmas tree. Dion’s makeup was complete with manicured eyebrows and soft pink lips. Her hair, which was cut into a bob at the time, was worn down and straightened.
“To get into the holiday spirit, we played a round of “This or That” with Celine. In loving all things festive…she just couldn’t choose — but you can,” Dion captioned the post.

Like Us, Dion has an obsession when it comes to shoes. She opened up about the (painful) lengths she’ll go to to get a pair she wants during her June 2024 documentary, I Am: Céline Dion.
“When a girl loves her shoes, she always makes them fit. I have worn shoes, my friend, my toes were like this,” she said, curling her fingers, “because they didn’t have my size.”
Dion added that when she goes shopping and is asked what size she is, she replies, “No, you don’t understand. What size do you have? I’ll make them work. I’ll make them fit. I will walk the shoe. The shoe don’t walk me.”

“I’ve worked shoes with my feet like this,” she explained, again scrunching her fingers inwards. If a shoe is too big, she spreads her toes out to grip onto the sole. “Give it to me. I love them,” she added, sharing her collection features over 10,000 shoes.
