Meghan Trainor is shining a light on her personal health and fitness journey.
“Science is the secret,” Trainor, 31, told Entertainment Tonight on Saturday, March 29. “I love it. I learned a lot of tricks that I had no idea [about].”
According to the “Dear Future Husband” singer, she was working out “so incorrectly for so long.”
“I was running and doing cardio and my body was inflamed,” she explained, “always.”

Now, Trainor joked that she’s trying to “biohack my body” and learn from science on what’s the best way for her body to lose weight and stay healthy.
“Anything that’ll help me age backward, I’m into it,” she explained. “I just learned about the NADs [food supplement capsules]. I was like, ‘Make me Hailey Bieber, I’ll do it, I’ll take it.’ I’m trying all the things. I love a doctor explaining stuff to me.”
Trainor shared more about her journey on the red carpet at Billboard‘s Women in Music Event.
Before accepting the Hitmaker Award presented by Madison Beer, the “All About That Bass” crooner arrived at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California, in a Sami Miro vintage dress styled by Allison Cartagena. She completed her look with Wolford tights and The Attico sunglasses.

After becoming a mom, Trainor has tried to keep it real when it comes to her health and body. In November 2024, the singer shared her plans to get a boob job after welcoming two kids.
“My mommy boobies were full of milk and now they’re empty and then they’re full of milk and now they’re empty,” she said on her “Workin’ on It” podcast. “They got big, they got small, they got big, they got small. I’ve lost some weight and I have, like, saggy sacks as boobs.”

One month later, Trainor opened up about her experience with Botox injections and warned her fans that she did “too much.”
When celebrating her latest award, however, Trainor made it clear that family is what matters most when she shared a photo of her husband and two kids before showtime.
